That being said, I've still got a lot to do before I leave, and I've started an already lengthy list of various things I want to do during my time in London...
- Ride on the London Eye
- Travel to Dartmoor and track down a herd of wild ponies
- See Sonehenge
- Go horseback riding in Hyde Park
- Visit the North York Moors
- Visit Oxford
- Take a cruise on the Thames
- Track down at least one 'Harry Potter' cast member
Something else exciting... Prince William will be getting married while I'm there! What a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be able to be in London when a royal wedding is going on. There are sure to be parades and celebrations leading up to April 29, and I'm really excited and interested to see how this all plays out.
I have yet to hear about which family I'll be living with in London, but we were told at the meeting tonight that we should know in the next week or so.
The meeting tonight was great... I got a chance to meet and get to talk to quite a few other people in the group of approximately 30 students. Meeting everyone and talking with others about our hopes and plans for the upcoming quarter just got me even more and more excited!
More updates to come as they arise.
